Plextor starts rolling out the M2S series in several European countries. The first quantity of the Plextor SSD is available now in the UK with Scan.

Last month Plextor introduced the M2S Series as one of the first brands to offer SSD with the latest SATA 6Gb/s interface for fast transfer times, boasting sequential read speeds up to 480 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 330 MB/s. The SSD is boasted by its server-grade Marvell 88SS9174 control chip, currently the industry’s most advanced control chip, which is also used in central processors. The M2S series SSD is available in 3 different capacities: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
